Caldwell-Hohl Artworks offers contemporary stoneware, sculptures, large garden urns and contemporary fiber art.
We are a husband and wife team working in clay, wood, glass and fiber. We approach our work with careful consideration to originality and artistic interpretation. Our pottery is glazed with ash and copper red glazes and fired in a large gas kiln. We all work together from design to glazing.
Visiting the studio of Caldwell-Hohl Artworks takes you to a rustic log cabin and a small studio surrounded by ponds and woods. Our interesting assortment of animals is fascinating to our visitors.
We feel that working in clay and other natural materials means a journey that never ends and days that are never boring.
Our April kiln opening is always the third weekend in April. We host our Annual Garden Party on the third Saturday of July.
The third weekend of October is always our annual kiln opening. Please visit our website for more information.
We also keep a very nice selection of our work at
Seagrove Creations Gallery (near the intersection of #705 and #220).
|
Directions: Take HWY 705 south of Seagrove about 6 miles, left on Meadowsprings Road, then right on Pottery road. We are located on the corner of Pottery Road and Cabin Trail.
