Jeff Dean and Stephanie Martin make contemporary, vibrantly glazed stoneware vessels, sculpture, and wall pieces. They create a wide variety of functional, decorative, wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces. Their unique and artful shapes are accented by vivid colors and simple designs.
Jeff has been working in clay since the mid 90's after receiving a B.F.A. in ceramics from East Carolina University. Most of his work is wheel-thrown and altered. He enjoys stretching the limits of clay which gives energy and movement to his pieces.
After receiving a B.F.A. in design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Stephanie enjoys creating unique coil-built vessels and sculptures, as well as a functional line of slab-built tableware.
Together, their work exudes a visual harmony of color, texture, and design. Come visit their gallery to see a diverse collection of distinctive vessels.

Directions: Dean and Martin Pottery is located 6mi. south of Seagrove off of HWY 705. Take left on Chriscoe Rd. and go all the way to end. Take a right on Yow Rd. Our drive is a few hundred yards on the left.
