The working studio and showroom is operated by Seagrove native and family-taught potter Crystal King. Crystal is the only daughter of the well acclaimed Terry and Anna King of King's Pottery, also located in the Seagrove area. The King's are best known for their folkart face jugs which were inspired by their involvement and apprenticeship with Dorothy and Walter Auman in the early 1980's.
Today Crystal King Pottery is a "must see" during your visit to the area. The charming storefront attests to the ecclectic samplings of work inside. You can find everything from terra-cotta garden ware, to highly decorative vases, functional dishes in an array of colors, as well as the largest collection of face jugs and folkart in Seagrove. Most importantly meet Crystal personally and view her specialty of hand-sculpted, folkart figurals. Crystal's pieces are highly sought after and include multiple themes of work revolving around religious, political, and animal designs.
